Jodie Kain

Jodie Kain is a nationally recognized Contemporary Realist working exclusively in pastels. Over many years Jodie extensively studied classical atelier methods of drawing as well as modern expressionism. She attended schools and studied under accomplished artists in New York City, Pennsylvania, London, and Boston to hone her skills in Realism. Jodie works exclusively in pastels, as it provides a tactile experience that deepens her connection to the subject.

Jodie has attained Signature Membership in both The American Artists Professional League and American Women Artists. Her award-winning work has been shown in many national exhibits, at The Guild of Boston Artists, the Arnot Art Museum, Steamboat Art Museum, The Butler Institute of American Art, several Grand National Exhibitions at the Salmagundi Club of New York, as well as three International ARC Salons. Jodie's space themed painting "XIII" is included in the Lunar Codex: Polaris Mission. In 2021 Jodie volunteered to serve on the Board of Directors of the American Artists Professional League.
