Rebecca Hutchinson

Rebecca Hutchinson, Professor, University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, has taught
Undergraduate and Graduate Ceramics for the past nineteen years. Rebecca Hutchinson’s sculptural work has been shown across the United States at venues such as: SOFA (represented by Duane Reed Gallery), the National Museum for Women in the Arts, San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design, Burlington Contemporary Art Center, Lowe Museum of Art, Islip Museum of Art, Canton Museum of Art, Holter Museum of Art, Racine Museum of Art, Perlman Museum, Fuller Craft Museum, Missoula Museum of Art, and internationally at Museums in Taiwan, Italy, Belgium, South Korea, and Spain. Rebecca has been awarded numerous grants, fellowships, and awards including the Puffin Foundation, Pollock Krasner Foundation, Virginia Commission for the Arts Awards and Artist of the Year through the Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston. In 2015, she was selected as one of the 12 recipients of “Women to Watch” from the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC. Her work is published in over 80 publications both national and international. She has curated and juried exhibitions, served on Fellowship selection panels, and participated in residencies including the Archie Bray Foundation, Guldergaard International Ceramics Center and Vermont Studio Center.
