Annie O'Brien Gonzales

Annie O’Brien Gonzales was born and raised in Oklahoma and now lives in Santa Fe, NM. For many years she was an art quilter/fiber artist shifting to painting as a full-time professional 8 years ago. Through her role as docent at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, she has developed an intense interest in American Modernist painters. She teaches painting in her studio and at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe NM and Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM. She paints in oil, acrylic, and mixed media and has recently focused on the allure of still life. Her work has appeared in numerous shows throughout the West and is in private collections across the country.
