Becky Yazdan lives and works in Brooklyn. She received her MFA in 2005 from NYSS where she studied with Bill Jensen, Charles Cajori and Graham Nickson. She was the recipient of the Hohenberg Travel Award, the Nora Speyer Scholarship and the Emma Strain Award. Yazdan is represented by Giampietro Gallery in New Haven, CT. Recent shows include a two person show with Katherine Bradford, and group shows at the Painting Center in NYC, Victory Hall Drawing Rooms in Jersey City and 50 Gallery in Dallas. Her work has been featured by Two Coats of Paint, Gorky’s Granddaughter, Studio Critical and ApartmentTherapy.com.
