I am an American-born artist who moved to the UK in 2016 to pursue my Master's degree in Painting from the Royal College of Art. I now reside and work in London. My mother is a seamstress, so I grew up learning aa multitude of sewing techniques. This is now the biggest influence in my work. As I continue to work in the medium of textiles, I find that it is a medium that unifies and generates personal conversations everywhere I go. Everyone has aa family member or personal story that relates to textiles in some way.
I have exhibited my artwork in many locations internationally such as the following: Lifeline as Medium, 532 Gallery, NYC; SURGE: the East Wing Biennial, Courtauld Institute, London; Rogue Objects, UCL, London; FAKERS, Thamesside Studios, London.
