Cindy Betka

My full career in art started out with an eye toward illustration. After a year of study in Rome, Italy, I attended The Art Center College of Design (Pasadena, CA), majoring in illustration. I completed an apprenticeship in a major advertising firm in Chicago and from there explored an interest in medical illustration. My dream of becoming a medical illustrator culminated in a degree from the University of Illinois and certification from The Association of Medical Illustrators. Then after over 25 years as a medical illustrator in staff and freelancing positions I decided to make the leap to painting full-time. My husband and I moved to Montana where we fell passionately for the landscape and the western/ranch way of life.
