Jill Telford

Jill Telford was born and raised in Scranton, PA but spent some of her time in Philadelphia. She is a writer and painter but never distinguishes the two. She fuses both mediums together making her an artist. Telford has been creating ever since she was a child. Her writing culminated into a book of published poetry “On the Verge”. Among her many publications; her short story “Five Minutes” is featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul. Her writing can be found in other places as well. She also performs spoken word poetry.

While her writing can be found in various places; her artwork has been exhibited in such places as the October Gallery in Philadelphia, the capital building in Harrisburg and so on. Her art is also in several private and public collections.

Jill Telford holds a B.A. from Cheyney University and is currently teaching writing at Shangrao University in Jiangxi Province, China.
