Born Stuttgart Germany to parents in the American armed service in 1959. Attended liberal arts college as a Fine Arts major then Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC as a fashion design major, graduating in 1981. Worked in Fashion Design in NYC. Worked as owner of Serenity hand painted silk fashions. Began creating sewn and painted artwork in 1990. Has exhibited internationally in group shows. Has curated over 15 fiber art exhibitions.
