My art has been influenced by my multi-cultural background - born in Paris, France, I grew up in Australia and reside in the greater Washington DC area - my 25th year in the US is coming up! I create works in numerous mediums including painting, ceramic sculpture and video. My subject matter determines the style and medium which best expresses my vision. Though eclectic, my work touches upon the universality of human emotion and adheres to a balance between the conceptual and the aesthetic. Since living in the United States, my work has developed and grown as a result of the wealth of opportunities and exposure to cutting edge art. I would love to have my work included in the Art in Embassies program as a means of 'paying back' and demonstrating the diverse art produced in this country. My current studio practice incorporates mixed media paintings. Over the years my work has become more expressive and more emboldened.
