Miranda Updike

Miranda Updike received her BFA in painting from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1993. While there, she studied with George Nick and Jo Sandman, among other influential teaching artists. Her paintings have been exhibited at Mass. College of Art group shows, the Cambridgeport Open Studios, the Cambridge Public Library, the Cambridge Art Association Gallery on Lowell Street, the annual Ipswich art shows, The Ipswich Yacht Club, the Firehouse Center in Newburyport, the Pingree School Art Gallery in Hamilton, the Hall-Haskell House in Ipswich, Essex Greenbelt: Art In The Barn in Essex, Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Brattle theater Auction in Cambridge, the John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse in Boston, the Massachusetts General Hospital Illuminations exhibit space in Boston, The Fenn School in Concord, Mixt Media Gallery in Ipswich, The Bromfield Gallery in Boston, City Lights Gallery in Bridgeport, CT, Attleboro Arts Museum in Attleboro, Zullo Gallery in Medfield, Albright Gallery in Concord, Art Complex Museum in Duxbury, and Art Show at The Dog Show in Wichita, Kansas.
