About the author

About me I paint to spark your imagination, to make you wonder, and above all, to make you feel alive and love what surrounds you. My landscapes explore the raw, definitional forces of Earth, how these are used to create the new, and constructively destroy the old. My depictions of wildlife explore how consciousness and intelligence manifest in other life forms. My human subjects are glimpses into the intimate moments when we search for our true self. I see these forces manifesting as vibrant colors, variations between soft and detailed to playful and thick brush strokes, with shapes that move from the figurative and realistic, to the imaginary and the abstract, in search for what abides behind reality. Resume Rebeca Fuchs was born in Madrid, Spain, where she graduated from ‘Universidad Complutense de Madrid’ with a BA in Fine Arts, and an MA in Furnishing Design.
