After growing up overseas and then receiving a Fine Arts degree from William and Mary, I worked at the Foreign Service Institute in art-related areas such as graphic and exhibit design, video production and finally e-learning development. After retirement I returned more fully to creating fine art. I paint impressionistic landscapes in oil and particularly enjoy painting en plein air. I'm represented by Nepenthe Gallery in Alexandria, Va., have sold and exhibited my work in regional venues, and have received several awards for my work.
