Daniel Marosi is a Florida-based artist, originally from Cleveland, Ohio.

Marosi received his MFA in 2018 from Florida International University. Intially producing an extensive body of figurative work, his current art practice centers on the examination of phrases that have the potential to affect attitudes, especially in the spiritual realm. Scraping, rolling, and dripping painted letterforms on canvas, Marosi produces multi layered compositions informed by makeshift signs and street graffiti.

Recent solo exhibitions include Rejoice Always at the Miami Beach Regional Public Library in 2023, Evidence of Things Unseen at The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and And the Word Was God in 2022 at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.Marosi has participated in group exhibitions at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, The FrostArt Museum, Miami’s Bakehouse Art Complex, Laundromat Art Space and Studio 18 Art Complex in Pembroke Pines, Florida,


Marosi has received three grants from the Broward Cultural Division and was the 2020 resident artist at Armleder School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marosi’s work is in several public and private collections including the Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
