Donald Myers. Born Minneapolis, Minnesota 1930. He graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 1952 with a degree in economics. After Cornell he studied art at many colleges, universities, and community art centers, including: The Minneapolis School of Art, Minneapolis, MN. Carleton College in Northfield MN., The University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, and the Von Liebig Art Center, andThe University of South Florida, both in Naples, FL.

His sculpture experiences include almost all sculpture media: metal fabrication, welding, bronze casting, stone carving, fired clay, plaster, mold making, aerated concrete, smashed wood, and more. In addition to making sculpture he has interviewed and written extensively about art creation and the experiences of other sculptors. Also he has taken classes in art history, art philosophy, and art psychology.
