Primarily a self-taught artist, I have worked in my studio for the past 27 years exploring all facets of materials and concepts.In my work I am always driven by the energy, forms and science of the natural world. When I paint, I prefer to avoid the identifiable, and chose to focus on the biomorphic shapes and references that connect the questions of human behavior and impact on the natural processes occurring around us.
