Born in New Jersey, Jenifer Kent received her BFA from Rutgers University, and MFA from Mills College. Her current work uses ink on panel as a way to explore time and stillness. Her pieces are drawn by hand without rulers and serve as a meditation for both artist and viewer. Jenifer's work has been exhibited at the Sonoma County Museum of Art, Aqua Art Miami, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, and numerous locations around the U.S. Her work was recently included in the International Drawing Discourse Exhibition at UNC Asheville.
