Nicole is a painter based in Southern California. She received her BA in Art and Social Sciences from Columbia College. Nicole explores themes in her paintings that revolve around modern identity, the landscape, and the ever-present confluence of invisible forces as natural and synthetic visions. Reflecting the state of our modern selves with all pervasive invisible forces, she examines boundaries of inner/outer as a heightened and visceral perception of our natural environment and its visual symphony of energy fields, waves of color, magnetic forms, symbolic sound, shapeshifting forms, electricity and digital waves. She has recently won the Artslant Artist Showcase and her work can be found in a number of private collections in the United States.
