Nicole Rademacher is a New Media and Visual Artist. She began her studies in architecture at Virginia Tech, but was soon swayed to photography and then video. Currently she makes single and multi-channel videos and installations. She also works with photography, digital print, and books.Nicole received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA (Electronic Integrated Arts) from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, where she received an MFA Fellowship and the SUNY Graduate Diversity Fellowship. She has lived abroad in Nantes, France, Barcelona, Spain, and Santiago de Chile, and has exhibited and screened work world-wide as well, including the E.H. Little Fine Arts Center in Charlotte, NC, Art Beijing Contemporary Art Fair, the Streaming Festival: International Festival for Audio Visual Art in the Netherlands, re-new in Copenhagen, the Pantheon International Xperimental Film & Animation Festival in Nicosia Cyprus, Transmediale in Berlin, LOOP Video Art Festival in Barcelona, La Maison de Chili in Paris, and Congreso Internacional Mujer Arte y Tecnología en la Nueva Esfera Pública in Valencia, Spain. Additionally, she is a part of Eyes Everywhere: photo collective and SALADESTAR artist collective. Nicole has given artist lectures and workshops and most recently was an artist-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
