Bill Revill began painting again after a 40-year hiatus in 2006. Retired from the Connecticut Office of Legal Counsel, Regulation and Administrative Hearing, Revill had long thought about trying painting; a small, hesitant painting from a photograph of a boulder in the Hammonasset surf of Long Island Sound was the beginning. He continued with painting lessons locally and works in acrylics on canvas. He is primarily drawn to New England seascapes and landscapes, which he paints from his own photographs.
