Rena is a recent graduate of Dickinson College where she studied Studio Art and Biology. She uses a combination of drawing (pencil and silverpoint), printmaking, and painting in a struggle to define the dynamics of human connections and to explore the theme of hope. While Rena's background in Biology does not influence the subject matter of her art, her experience with scientific research informs her experimentations with and uses of a variety of artistic media.
