Brandon Fisher was born and raised on Martha's Vineyard. His native island heritage can be traced to Martha's Vineyard's original settlers. His lineage includes whalers, swordfishermen and other mariners. The harsh realities and physical beauties of the sea inform and infuse his original artwork. Powerful, bold brushstrokes and a sensitive eye for detail give his work a living, dynamic presence. He is particularly drawn to the mystical hues of dusk and dawn when light and shadows perform their delicate dance. His paintings are included in many private and corporate collections.
