I am a 43 year old impressionist figurative painter. I grew up in the southwest of The United States and self identify as Chicana. My father is Mexican American and my mother Anglo. My work could be described as 'sensual impressionism' because I paint scenes of pleasure and relaxation.
I have a BFA and MFA in visual art.
I am currently a Tenure Track Professor at Highline College in the state of Washington.
Highline is one of the most ethnically diverse colleges int he state and I'm very proud to teach painting and drawing there.
