Wendy Anderson is primarily a visual artist working in all mediums, but also has works of sculpture, music, writing and wearable art. She currently maintains an open studio at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton VA and assists in curating Gallery 10's monthly shows. She’s also very involved in the governance and oversight Gallery 10.
She has taught private classes on and off since 2011 and taught her art style to 4-6 graders for 5 years while her husband was stationed in Okinawa. Prior to being at the Workhouse, she worked for 5ish years at Michaels Craft Store as the Event Coordinator in charge of all classroom activities, teachers and storewide demonstrations and events. She also spent some time as a frame shop manager, office manager, and floral manager before leaving her position to start at the Workhouse Arts Center.
