GORDEN KEGYA

Gorden Kegya, young Ghanaian artist was born in Kumasi, Ghana. His talent in art was evident as he begun to appreciate and acquire the artistic eye for studying nature at his early ages through basic education. He had studied and canvasing fine art in Prempeh College, now in the University of Education, Winneba. Majoring painting and sculpture (B.A Art Edu.) with a bias towards dry media, wet media and digital media. He preferably works with the medium which best suits the theme painterly from memory to panel.
His spectacular brushing out strokes exhibits tactile texture in works, rendering optically realistic to abstract images.
Kegya's subjects to work are based on the emotions and thoughts of humanity towards social and individual problems exposed within their deserved environment.
He is inspired by the way of lives ranging from infancy through adolescence, the old ages to ashes.
Gorden Kegya's contribution to development through art had groomed, stabilized and brought around tolerance, appreciation and aesthetics to lives on lives.
This young artist lives, works and study art in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
