Ronald J. Gregory- Biography

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Ronald Gregory started taking photographs at an early age. While in college his passion for photography grew which ultimately led to a graduate degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1983. Gregory worked as a professional photographer, both freelance and for Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, in Nashville, Tennessee prior to attending RIT. RIT provided the opportunity for Ronald to expand his technical knowledge, and as the result, he developed one of the first interactive laser disc programs highlighting photography within the RIT community. This disc program was collected by prestigious museums including The International Museum of Photography, George Eastman House, and The Whitney Museum of American Art..

Mr. Gregory has worked as a visual designer for over three decades with an emphasis on new media and software applications. Ronald founded several new media companies and currently works as an independent designer. His re-emergence as a serious photographer has taken place over the past five years. As the result of years working in digital media design, his attention to detail, design, style, and appreciation for aesthetic beauty has enhanced his photographic imagery.
