BIOGRAPHY
Adah Glenn is a visionary artist, producer, and CEO of Adahma Corporation. She is also known as the creative entity AfroPuff™. Her artistic vision lies in the intersection of art + media + design + commerce. She draws inspiration from everything around her but current fascinations include Victorian erotica, classic animation, manga, anime, pop art, graffiti, street art, commercial packaging, medieval weaponry, quilting, comics, and hot rods.Adah’s career began in 1969 when she was 6 months old with her first appearance in a Pampers commercial. She initially started her training in acting, dance, and music at USC’s School of Performing Arts while in grade school.

In the 90’s while in college, she developed a love millinery and doll making which evolved into line of hats which were quite popular with rock bands like and for the musical groups: Fishbone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Digital Underground, and for the T.V. Show- "A Different World". She was profiled in the L.A. Weekly as one of the maddest hat designers in Los Angeles. That was the beginning of what would later become AfroPuff Products. Now, AfroPuff has become the umbrella company for all of Adah’s products and merchandise that consists of media content, a line of books, greeting cards, t-shirts, skate decks, stickers, prints, toys, and accessories.Adah’s imagination and diverse skill set has lead her to use her talents in many areas in the art, design, and entertainment industries. Her roles have ranged from art direction, character design, graphic design, brand & content development. Adah’s Client list includes: Chiat/Day, Motown, Disney, Saban Entertainment, Mattel, The Bead Fairy, and The Original Snake Doctor Brand.

After 10 years of life in the corporate art and media world, she took a leap of faith and started Adahma Corporation in 2002. Armed only with a head full of dreams and a few hard drives of creative content, she seized control over her career, destiny, and her life. Part concept store, part studio, Adahma Corporation is located in the under the radar community of Picfair Village in Los Angeles.Adah’s artwork is frequently shown in art fairs, galleries, film festivals, and museums. Her craft projects have been featured on Home & Garden Television’s Crafter’s Coast To Coast Episode # 158. AfroPuff is also the creator and producer of Whatever & COSMIC MUMBO JUMBO cable access shows, and numerous animated short films which have racked up a million views on YouTube. In 2010 she embarked on a new creative chapter in the theater with two productions: AfroPuff’s Playhouse & Cosmic Mumbo Jumbo Live the made it’s debut performance as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival. In addition to Adah’s many professional achievements, she plays her banjo around town in clubs such as The Whiskey A Go Go, and The House of Blues.

Currently, Adah is working on a new performance art show integrating art, music, and social commentary. She is a multi-instrumentalist native of Los Angeles who enjoys pursuing the hobbies of music, sculpting, fabricating, printing, stenciling, stickering, and baking. All while building a following for live performances and juggling the major roles of her life as artist, wife, business owner, and mother of four wonderful children & a dog named Rufus.
