Alma Leiva was born in Honduras and moved to Miami, Fl, when she was fourteen

years old, where she lives and works.

Education
2007- BFA from The University of Florida in Photography/ Electronic Media, as well as a Minor in Art History.
2008-2009 - Pursuing an MFA in Photo/Film at VCU Arts .
