Art has always been in my life. I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma to an artist mother and scientist father. I received a BA in English literature from OSU and an MEd from the College of New Jersey. I lived and worked overseas for 15 years, in South Korea, Myanmar, Hungary, Azerbaijan and Belgium. In Brussels, during the pandemic, I began to paint much more. I was inspired by the myriad different cultures and environments I was able to explore. I moved back to the U.S. in 2021, eager to devote more time to my art practice. I am grateful to my mother for surrounding me with inspiration, tools and materials from a young age, and I’m grateful that I’ve been able to travel so extensively, satisfying some of my endless curiosity about the world.
My work can be found in and around Tulsa, Brussels, Yangon and further afield.
