Simon Levenson

I am an oil painter and draftsman living and working in New York City. My work is currently represented by Cavalier Galleries Inc, 3 west 57th street in New York.
Previous I have exhibited at Grenning Gallery, National Arts Club, Wally Findlay Gallery and Elaine Benson Gallery.

In 2014 I was the Painter-in-Residence at Bryant Park in Manhattan. In 2011 my work became a permanent part of the New York City subway. I completed an Arts for Transit Commission for The Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

It has been my great honor to receive the following awards and grants:
2007, 2006 – Artist Member Awards – National Arts Club
2003 – Robert Raushenberg Grant
1999 – Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Grant (Grant for Sculpture)
1997 – Puffin Foundation Grant (Grant for Sculpture)
