Artist Statement

My art is a process of constant investigation and experiment. One day I am an artist whose work is guided by the experience of older generations, on another I may concentrate on form or colour or technique. My work is a true kaleidoscope of painting – a mixture of elegant decorative effects and monumental forms, hot southern flavours and mild pastel shades, as well as subtle sensuality – and vividly reflects the heart and mind of this young artist.

For me, painting is at once a spiritual journey, a transformation of reality, and the ability to create and feel as freely as a child. I love following new ideas and splashing them onto the canvas, and I hope that my work will give out as as much pleasure and emotion to everyone who sees it as it gives to me.
