Connie Brown, a Connecticut based artist was exposed to painting by her artist grandfather. She received her BFA in sculpture from The University of Arizona. Inspired by teaching art to homeless adults in Connecticut and New York City, Connie redirected her artistic interests to painting, focusing on abstract imagery.

“I’m addicted to the puzzle of color, the construction of shapes and how they relate to each other. My paintings are born from one another, each shaping the other through exploration and experimentation.”
