My paintings explore the philosophical
paradox of omnipotence and free will. Is it
possible to exercise control by allowing
other factors to act independently?
In all my work I aim to achieve a goal by
relinquishing control through spattered
paint, scattered objects, random
occurrences. After successive layerings, the
primary colors mix by themselves and the
painting emerges with a will of its own.
