Elaine Kehew

Elaine Kehew is a painter and print maker living in Nairobi, Kenya.

The artist was born in New York State and was active as a performance artist in New York City in the 1990s. Kehew served on the steering committee of Art-o-Matic in Washington DC from 2000-2004. She studied painting and printmaking at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington DC, and participated in lectures at The Art League in Alexandria, VA. For the past six years she has been living and working in East Africa, and is a contributor to Art Life Magazine.
