Ezgi Köylüoğlu

Ezgi Koyluoglu(1996, Ankara) is a contemporary artist whose practice is primarily concerned with human’s relationship with nature and with the cosmos.
Most recently over the past two years Koyluoglu has focused her attention toward large scale abstraction paintings.
She proceeds with the stream of consciousness technique in her paintings and explores the elements of automatism and randomness with color and geometry.
Koyluoglu, who underlines that with the age of developing technology, humanity is exposed to pessimism, despair, anger and grief that it has never been before, and believes that the artist of this age should instill unity, hope and love in humanity as a duty.
She graduated from Akdeniz University Fine Arts Faculty, Painting BA program with high honors in 2020 and attended classes in Poznań Fine Arts University in 2015.
She has taken part in many exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She still lives in Istanbul and works from her studio there.
