Aarti Kathuria

Aarti Kathuria leads the studio Hopskcotch, a design and installation firm that specializes in spatial installations in the public realm and in the context of adaptive re-use or place making.

Hopskcotch currently has installed pieces in public realm both in the exterior and interiors. She has also exhibited her projects in Milan, Italy and in New York City, New
York.

Aarti Kathuria holds a Master of Arts in Interior Architecture and Adaptive Reuse from Rhode Island School of Design and Masters in Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Aarti Kathuria has worked in the field as an architectural designer for over a decade and has been a part of a core team on award winning projects. In 2012, Aarti Kathuria formed her own studio,Hopskcotch. Her experience and interests are in celebrating the spatial dynamism of a built space to explore and enhance its experiential quality. Most of her work is tactile, interactive or kinetic.
She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York
