QIANWEN (CANDI) JIANG

Qianwen Jiang is a San Francisco based photographer whose work focuses on architecture, landscape and people. She is interested in exploring the use of mixed media in photography and experimenting with historic photographic processes.

Jiang was born and raised in china. Then she came to the United States to further her art education. Jiang attended the Academy of Art University, San Francisco and received a Master's degree in photography. She likes to observe the world and capture images through her own lens, which is influenced by her background in graphic design.

Through her series work My Geometric World, Jiang has created her own original and recognizable style, where she has expanded the possibilities of the photographic collage. Over the course of her career, Jiang has been honored with more than 52 awards for her photography and for her exhibition. Most notably, Jiang awarded 1st Place Winner of the 2015 Fine Art Photography Awards and 1st Place Winner of the 2014 American Aperture Awards (AX3).

Jiang’s photographic works have been exhibited in well-known museums and galleries in both the United States and countries around the world.
