Jody Pearl

I am a visual artist,now residing in upstate New York.I began my artistic career in earnest in Woodstock N.Y.I attended the Woodstock School of art ,first as a student and then as a teachers assistant and scholarship student. This was a great beginning,providing me not only with the tools I needed but also the nurturing that was necessary.I began exhibiting in the Hudson Valley and also curated shows in the area.I was Vice president of The Hudson Valley Watercolor Society and also on The Board of The Woodstock Artists Society.After moving to the west coast I exhibited and taught seminars at the Boulder Art Center in Boulder Colorado and was the Art Instructor for The Mile High Girl Scout Council.My life has given me opportunities in Seattle Washington as well.I was a teachers assistant at the school of Realist Art and exhibited at the Streetlife Gallery while working for the Homeless Empowerment Project.After returning to New York I became involved in Albany with many projects.Art For Aids Sake,Artistic Aftermath,my 911 Series that can be viewed on the 911 memorial museums artist registry along with a resume.I have also been honored by the Keeping A Breast organization for a bust I donated for Breast Cancer.I was the only American Artst at that exhibition in Paris.I have received A Gottlieb Emergency Grant as well as Maxs Kansas City awards.I am continuing my work as an artist with a vision that focuses on an innerstorehouse that constanly inspires me.
