Leslie Jeffery was born in Jacksonville, FL and obtained a degree in Art Education from Florida State University. Her medium is acrylic on canvas. Her paintings are primarily large gestural expressionistic abstracts. She most recently was featured in a Solo Exhibition at Mahaffey Theater / Duke Energy Center for the Arts. She is a member of numerous art organizations including ISAP (International Society of Acrylic Painters - Signature Member), FLAG (Florida Artists Group), PAVA (Professional Assn. of Visual Artists) and is a Past President of Las Damas de Arte, a group of women artists who exhibit and raise money for art scholarships. She exhibits throughout the Southeast and maintains studios in Largo, FL and in Highlands, NC.
