Liu Xianghua was born in Hubei, China 1976. He receives his doctoral degree in art and design from China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Liu Xianghua taught and researched in art of China’s traditional garden and national environmental art for more ten years at Minzu?Nationality?University of China in Beijing. In 2010, his installation Urban Forest, has featured in the exhibition ‘reshaping history- China art from 2000 to 2009" curated by Today Art Museum in Beijing. During 2014 and 2015, he had come to Melbourne as a visiting scholar at the Faculty of the VCA and Music at The University of Melbourne, Australia. He held solo ink Art exhibition in Melbourne CBD, Box hill, Footscray, Wentworth falls NSW, and Hobart Tasmania.
