Lucell Larawan

Lucell Larawan, from the Philippines, romped home two finalist awards during the International Artist Grand Prize Championship (2019 and 2020) based in Taiwan. His sculptures got semi-finalist awards from the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (2006 and 2008). The artist mounted six solo exhibits at galleries and a museum in the Philippines. His last solo was made through a grant from the NCCA Gallery program. He participated in a number group shows in Taiwan and the country. Larawan had served as a trainer, curator and hosting partner of art festivals for the indigenous peoples. He was a resource person in the Visayan-Islands Exhibit Conference (VIVA-EXCON). His works have been reviewed by regional newspapers and a book for senior high school students. The limner published international and local scholarly journal publications in art criticism and business (peer-reviewed) through the sponsorship of two universities and a competitive individual grant from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). He serves as the chairman of the Committee on Visual Arts of the Bohol Art and Cultural Heritage council.
