Lynda Cronin

Lynda Cronin creates multi-media sculptural installations and drawings referencing geography, migration, history, music and landscape. She is active in the arts community and is the founder of the arts collective Blink Gallery. She is a Canadian artist who was born in Dublin, Ireland. Her work is held in many private and public collections
including the National Library of Canada, City of Ottawa and many private collections.
She has exhibited widely over the last 25 years-most recently at Oeno Gallery, sculpture park in Picton (2017) and Autumn gallery in Toronto (2015).
Cronin has completed numerous public art commissions including; Tempus (2017) aluminium painted sculpture for rapid transit in Ottawa, ShapeShifter (2013) aluminium and powder coated sculpture for Ottawa Little Theatre; Curtain Call (2011) a two part 60 metre glass mosaic tile wall for Centrepointe Theatre. Cronin continues to work on innovative projects with local poets and other innovative individuals. Her work has been supported by the Trillium Foundation, Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and the Arts Council of Ireland/An Chomhairle Ealaíon
