Myongsin Choi

Myongsin Choi has two master's degrees in art: one from Hong Ik University in her native South Korea and another from New York University in New York. Along with teaching at North Carolina Central University, Choi has shared her talents with students at Rutgers University in New Jersey and UNC-Chapel Hill and UIBN at China and served as an artist-in-residence at the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts in Edgecombe, Maine. Choi currently teaches Ceramic, Sculpture, and 3-D Design courses at NC central University. Choi has had numbers of both solo and group exhibitions. Some including, the Public Project Outdoor Sculpture which is currently in Seoul, Korea and also has had exhibitions held in New York, Rutgers University at New Jersey, and Duke University at North Carolina. Choi's work is part of many private and corporate collections. She has also had various workshops held in San Diego, California, Maine, and in Raleigh, North Carolina, South Korea and China.
