Michael was in Memphis, TN and visually impaired since birth. He is self-taught and ejoys paint architecture, space, transportation, street scenes, cityscapes, river scenes and landscapes. Michael has been featured in severval news articles in Memphis, TN and little Arkansas. He has also been interviewed on several news stations in Memphis, TN and San Antonio, TX. Recently, in July 2009, Mr. Williams place 3rd place 3rd place at the 18th annual American Printing House for the Blind Art Insight Contest in Louisville, KY out of 400 entries. It was his first time ever entering the contest. Mr. Williams also havine joint art exhibits with his mother artist Mattie L. Williams. They have been involved with two art exhibitions at local libraries in Memphis, TN.
