I am interested in history, language and poetry, I was drawn to the words of The US national anthem. Singing about the Stars and Stripes. This led to me wanting to encapsulate this somehow with an image, Liberty was my first.

Inspired by the poetry and imagery evoked by the US National Anthem, I recently completed a set of 10 pieces of Artwork based upon the US national anthem the US flag and Iconic images from American history, monuments and buildings.
So, I have created a pack of 5 or 10 A6 postcards design to promote some more interest in the Artwork.
Old Glory, Stars and Stripes, Old Faithful, Monuments, Presidents, Buildings and historic events, Bathed in Stripes and Lit by stars.

A poem...
Lit by stars & bathed in stripes.
This proof, held true throughout the night.
In the light of dawn, upon the battle worn.
In the morning sun, with the battle won.
The story of this song, had just begun. Ja 2023

The Embassy artwork set is slightly differently arranged from the 10 pieces on Redbubble, I have chosen 6 - Liberty, Capitol, Old Glory, Atlantis rising, The Empire Strikes Back - Iwo Jima and Four Good Men, added to these is the Seal of the US in a white circular field surround by a blue and black circle with a tricolour Red, white and blue border surrounding the artwork.

Originally I was aspiring to get my artwork into embassies and thought this was the route. I thought these images might serve well in that situation, a subtle but not overwhelming sense of pride in nation without being nationalist. A pick me up for the work day ahead. A reminder of Nation abroad.

The Artwork for submission here has had to be reduced in scale by about 60 percent due to limitations, so the resolution will not be as it could. Hope you like what you see. John Albury
