Peter Treiber

Earned an associate degree in Advertising Design at the State University of NY at Farmingdale.

Earned a bachelor of fine art degree in Photography from the Art Center College of Design in California.

Worked in NYC studios for ten years including the positions of Chief Photographer and Manager of Communications Services at International Nickel before joining the Photography Department at Bethlehem Steel. Five years as BSC staff advertising photographer.

Current member of Northampton Community College Communication Design Advisory Committee.

Own a commercial photography studio in Bethlehem since the closing of the BSC photo department.

Elected to Chapter President of the Central PA chapter of ASMP three times. Also served on the board of the Philadelphia chapter and hosted a major conference for ASMP National in Aspen CO.

Published Inside Bethlehem Steel: The Final Quarter Century in February 2008.

Continue shooting commercial assignments, fine art projects and enjoy sailing and orchid growing in my spare time.
