Patricia Millin

Pat Millin has been painting for the last decade. She started painting while working as the staff psychologist at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women (ICIW). Millin found that painting was her “own therapy”.She embraced oil painting and retired in 2010 to pursue her artistic career.
Millin holds a BA in Fine Arts and a MA in psychology. She is primarily a self-taught Artist supported by study with master painters including Mary Muller and Margaret Carter Baumgaertner. She has continued to refine her painting skills by attending the Baumgaertner Atelier for the past 10 years. Her paintings are included in personal collections and businesses throughout the United States.
Millin lives in Des Moines,Iowa, with her husband Michael and their dog Luke.
