David Richardson

David Richardson is from Waterford, Michigan. From an early age, he was taught to draw and paint by his mother who was an artist and art teacher. Richardson studied biology and art while attending Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas. Although his primary medium is oil, he also works in acrylic and metal. As a U.S. Marine, he served in Iraq and Afghanistan. His main body of work is based on the heroic and tragic figures of the Iliad and classified under the Trojan War Series; he has been working on the series since 2002. He has shown in New York, Washington D.C., and Miami. He is also the author of WAR STORY, published by Permuted Press, 2019.
