Charlie Swerdlow

Charlie Swerdlow is a painter, illustrator, concept artist, graphic designer, musician, and writer from Maine. He sells works of fine art, prints, and books, and is available for commissions and collaborations.

He began his career with a focus on illustrating sites & scenes from throughout world history. He collected these in the book Historic Sites & Scenes Reconstructed. In 2019 he began experimenting with sculptural canvases. In 2020 he published an illustrated book of poetry, Lowland Glow.

Swerdlow has a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in illustration, with a minor in Art History. He has worked at galleries and museums, and exhibited at galleries, fairs, and festivals throughout New England.
