Bryce Holt

Artists are storytellers. All too often, though, the narrative behind a painting never gets shared, so in my work, I’m going to tell stories. I look for tales of injustice, inequality, and the intersection of history with the modern world. I examine the emotional impact and societal issues within the narrative. My art seeks to be equal parts emotional and intellectual. Time is of the essence. Having spent the first 20 years of my career in software, I am haunted by the clock. I want to tell as many stories as I can before my time runs up.
