Adina Cicort

Born in 1978 in Bucharest, Romania in a family of Transylvanian artisans, Adina Cicort grew up learning arts and crafts from an early age. She began drawing and painting as a young child. Later, she studied with several established European artists. Cicort completed a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, with distinction, at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest in 2001. She moved to Dallas, TX and officially started her fine art career in 2005.

Cicort’s abstract works are created with mixed media techniques and mainly acrylic and oil based. Multicultural, speaker of six different languages, Cicort is a passionate world explorer and seeker of life’s fundamental truths.

Her work was represented at Artexpo New York, Art Monaco on French Riviera, Architectural Digest Design Show in NYC, Spectrum Miami, and at Saatchi Art, Gallery 3, Ten 20 Gallery, Luminarte Gallery, Kettle Gallery and other. As well as 2016? Art in America Guide to Museums, Galleries and Artists. Additionally, her work was selected for the 2017 Florence, Italy Biennale.
